Os preguntaréis qué significa esto de «los doce días de Navidad» y la verdad es que, en la actualidad, se habla poco de ese tiempo litúrgico del cristianismo. Sin embargo, es muy habitual hablar del tiempo de Adviento, nombre con el que se denomina a las cuatro semanas anteriores a la Navidad (del 1 al 24 de diciembre). Esto se debe, principalmente, a la comercialización de los calendarios de adviento con chocolates, caramelos, de distintas formas y colores que han hecho que se vuelva especialmente popular.
